Enjoy approximately one hour on the smooth, beautiful Gold Coast waterways admiring luxury mansions and uninterrupted views of the Gold Coast city skyline. Sit back, relax and enjoy buffet lunch and a detailed commentary. You’ll have plenty of time for questions and to learn the history of this young city – the first highrise appearing on the coast line, constructed in 1959, "Kinkabool".
GOLD COAST HINTERLAND
World Heritage Listed in 1994, this park is part of a shield volcano on the Scenic Rim which includes Main Range, Mount Barney, Lamington and Goomburra Forest Reserve. It is listed because of its importance in the conservation of several species of threatened birds.
NATURAL BRIDGE (SPRINGBROOK NATIONAL PARK)
A naturally occurring waterfall and rock arch over Cave Creek, which flows into the Nerang River, the arch was formed by the waterfall which eroded a cave underneath and dug a hole on top until the two joined; creating the arch we have today. The cave is home to a colony of glow worms which can be seen only after dusk.
